How to Make Paleta de Agua (Traditional & Healthy Version)
Paleta de Agua is a beloved Mexican frozen dessert, celebrated for its refreshing taste and vibrant colors. These traditional ice pops are made from fresh fruit, natural sweeteners, and pure water, highlighting the rich bounty of Mexico’s local produce. Originating from street vendors known as 'paleteros', Paleta de Agua is a staple during the warm months, offering a cooling treat enjoyed by children and adults alike throughout Mexico’s bustling plazas and quiet neighborhoods. The beauty of Paleta de Agua lies in its simplicity and adaptability, allowing for endless flavor combinations using seasonal fruits such as watermelon, mango, lime, or pineapple. Unlike creamy paletas, these are dairy-free and naturally vegan, making them suitable for a variety of dietary preferences.
